The Rotary Club Cremona and Cremona Po, in collaboration with Rotary International District 2050, organize the 2nd Biennial Camp “Cremona X Strings”. 
This initiative aims at drawing attention on ‘Cremona, a City for Music’ on a worldwide scale, and meeting the traditional goals of the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. The camp is taking place in our city from 17th to 29th June 2012 and is open to string players between the ages of 18 and 24, from all over the world, who want to improve their technical and musical abilities in the chamber repertoire, under world-renowned teachers.
The teaching staff will put together at least three chamber groups (from trio to octet) after a few days of one-to-one and ensemble classes; the groups will perform at the end of the Camp in three public concerts.
The Camp has the partnership of the School of Musicology of the University of Pavia, the “Antonio Stradivari – La Triennale” Foundation, Regione Lombardia, the Municipality of Cremona, the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, Linea Group Holding, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Province of Cremona.
